34/36. Chapter:

Regarding The Statement Of Allah: "Old Male Servants Who Lack Vigour"

Sunan Abi DawudHadith Number 4109

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ زَادَ وَأَخْرَجَهُ فَكَانَ بِالْبَيْدَاءِ يَدْخُلُ كُلَّ جُمُعَةٍ يَسْتَطْعِمُ ‏.‏

The tradition mentioned about has also been transmitted by 'Aishah through a different chain of narrators. This version has: He (the Prophet) exiled him and he lived in a desert (outside Medina). He would come every Friday asking for food.
