حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ فَقَالَ مَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنَّا أَحَدٌ .
Alqama Narrated from:
I asked 'Abd Allaah b Mas'ud: Which of you was in the company of the Messenger of Allaah ( sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam ) on the night when the jinn attended him? He replied : None of us was with him.

This hadith about the night of the jinn is very brief and clear. Alqamah asked Abdullah ibn Mas'ud which of them was with the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) on that night.
