56/199. Chapter:

Taking meals on arrival (from a journey)

وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُفْطِرُ لِمَنْ يَغْشَاهُ.Ibn ‘Umar used to present meals to the one who used to visit him (on returning from a journey).

Sahih BukhariHadith Number 3090

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَدِمْتُ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ صَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ‏"‏‏.‏ صِرَارٌ مَوْضِعٌ نَاحِيَةً بِالْمَدِينَةِ‏.‏

Narrated Jabir: Once I returned from a journey and the Prophet (ﷺ) said (to me) "Offer two rak`at." (Sirar is a place near Medina).
