62/15. Chapter:
The merits of Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas Az-Zuhri رضي الله عنهما
وَبَنُو زُهْرَةَ أَخْوَالُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهْوَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ.Banu Zuhra were maternal uncles of the Prophet ﷺ and he (i.e., Sa'd) was Sa'd bin Malik.

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا، يَقُولُ جَمَعَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَبَوَيْهِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ.
Narrated Sa`d: On the day of the battle of Uhud the Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned for me both his parents (i.e. saying, "Let my parents be sacrificed for you.").
