77/18. Chapter:

Al-Burud, Al-Hibar and Ash-Shamla

وَقَالَ خَبَّابٌ شَكَوْنَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهْوَ مُتَوَسِّدٌ بُرْدَةً لَهُ.

Sahih BukhariHadith Number 5812

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ أَىُّ الثِّيَابِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ‏.‏

Narrated Qatada: I asked Anas, "What kind of clothes was most beloved to the Prophet?" He replied, "The Hibra (a kind of Yemenese cloth).
