Summary of Sahih Bukhari Hadith 7249
This hadith is about Sujood Sahw, often searched as hadith about prostration of forgetfulness or Prophet prayed five rakats. Abdullah narrates that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم led the Zuhr prayer and prayed five rak'at. Someone asked whether the prayer had been increased. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم asked what had happened, and the people replied that he had prayed five rak'at. After completing the prayer with Taslim, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم offered two prostrations of Sahw.
