وَلِأَحْمَدَ : مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ : { وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ أَوَّلَ خُلْعٍ فِي اَلْإِسْلَامِ } .

It was the first ever husband and wife separation for compensation in Islam.
