Bulugh al-MaramHadith Number 586
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّهُ كَبَّرَ عَلَى سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ سِتًّا, وَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ بَدْرِيٌّ } رَوَاهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ . وَأَصْلُهُ فِي "اَلْبُخَارِيِّ" .
'Ali bin Abi Talib Narrated from:
‘Ali bin Abi Talib (RAA) narrated that he said six Takbirat when he prayed over Sahl bin Hunaif, and he said (explaining his action), ‘He is one of the Companions, who fought in the Battle of Badr.’ Related by Sa’id bin Mansur.
