A'isha Narrated from:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was called to the funeral of a child from among the Ansar. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, glad tidings for him! He is one of the little birds of Paradise, who never did evil or reached the age of doing evil (i.e, the age of accountability).' He said: 'It may not be so, O 'Aishah! For Allah created people for Paradise, He created them for it when they were still in their father's loins, And He has created people for Hell, He created them for it when they were still in their fathers' loins.'

Summary of Sunan Ibn Majah Hadith 82
This hadith about Qadar shows how careful a believer should be when speaking about matters of final destiny. Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, saw a child from the Ansar and spoke with hope, saying he had not done evil or reached the age of doing evil. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم corrected the statement and pointed her back to Divine Decree. He said Allah created people for Paradise while they were still in their fathers’ loins, and created people for Hell while they were still in their fathers’ loins. The lesson is not to speak with certainty about the unseen unless there is clear proof. The hadith keeps the focus on Allah’s knowledge, creation, and decree.
What we learn from this hadith
- A believer should avoid making certain claims about unseen final outcomes.
- Allah’s knowledge and decree cover people before they appear in this world.
- Hopeful speech should still remain within the limits of revealed knowledge.
- The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم corrected even loving statements when they touched the unseen.
