The virtues of Ansâr

Al-Lu'lu Wal-MarjanHadith Number 1629

Mûsa bin 'Uqba Narrated from:

Abdullâh bin Al-Fadl told me that Anas bin Mâlik رضى الله عنه said, "I was much grieved over those who had been killed in the Battle of Al-Harra. When Zaid bin Arqam heard of my intense grief (over the killed Ansâr), he wrote a letter to me saying that he heard Allâh's Messenger Forgive the Ansâr and the children of Ansâr.'" ( Sahîh Al-Bukhârî, Hadîth No. 429, Vol. 6)
