Al-Lu'lu Wal-Marjan 1661 — The Book of Kindness, Good Relations and Good Manners
There is reward for a believer if he falls ill or is grieved etc. even if he is pricked with a thorn.

A'isha Narrated from:
I never saw anybody suffering so much from sickness as Allâh’s Messenger ﷺ. ( Sahîh Al-Bukhârî, Hadîth No. 549, Vol. 7)
