Al-Lu'lu Wal-MarjanHadith Number 1893
Abu Hurairah Narrated from:
Allâh's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "It was said to Banî Israel, 'Enter the gate (of the town) bowing with humility (prostrating yourselves) and saying: 'Repentance', but they changed the word and entered the town crawling on their buttocks and saying: 'A wheat grain in the hair.'" [1] ( Sahîh Al-Bukhârî, Hadîth No. 615, Vol. 4 )
[1] They disobeyed Allâh تعالى both in action and in word. Thus Allâh punished them severely by sending on them an epidemic of plague disease. [See Tafsîr Tabarî , Vol. 1, P. 303, explanation of the Verse (V.2:59)].
