`Abdullah Narrated from:

I offered Salât (prayer) with the Prophet ﷺ, Abû Bakr رضي الله عنه and 'Umar رضي الله عنه at Mina and it was two Rak'a. 'Uthmân رضي الله عنه in the early days of his caliphate did the same, but later on he started praying the full Salât. ( Sahîh Al-Bukhâri, Hadîth No. 188, Vol. 2 )
