Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 243
وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْأُغْلُوطَاتِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Mu'awiyah Narrated from:
The Prophet forbade the discussion of thorny questions. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
