Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 2712
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ أَصْحَابَهُ أَنْ يُبَدِّلُوا الْهَدْيَ الَّذِي نَحَرُوا عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فِي عُمْرَةِ الْقَضَاءِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَفِيهِ قِصَّةٌ وَفِي سَنَدِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ
Ibn 'Abbas Narrated from:
God’s messenger commanded his companions to substitute sacrificial animals at the ’umra of Fulfilment (‘Umra al-qada' The one performed in the year after the treaty made at al-Hudaibiya) for those they had sacrificed in the year of al-Hudaibiya. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
