Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 3499
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ جَعَلَ الدِّيَةَ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ أَلْفًا. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ
Ibn 'Abbas Narrated from:
The Prophet fixed the blood wit at twelve thousand.* Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasa’i and Darimi transmitted it. *i.e. dirhams
