Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 4004
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: نَفَّلَنِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ سَيْفَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ وَكَانَ قَتَلَهُ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
'Abdullah bin Mas'ud Narrated from:
At the battle of Badr God’s Messenger gave him Abu Jahl’s sword, as he had killed him. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
