Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 4434
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَتَزَعْفَرَ الرَّجُلُ
Anas Narrated from:
The Prophet forbade men to use saffron. (Mirqat, iv, 461, says this applies to their clothing and their bodies, as it is a female custom but does not prohibit a small use of it.) (Bukhari and Muslim.)
