Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 5247
وَعَنْ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بن أسيد عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ ⦗١٤٤٥⦘ يَسْتَفْتِحُ بِصَعَالِيكِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ. رَوَاهُ فِي «شَرْحِ السّنة»
Umayyah ibn Khalid ibn Abdullah ibn Asid Narrated from:
Sayyiduna Umayyah ibn Khalid ibn Abdullah ibn Asid رضي الله عنه narrated about the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم that when he prayed (to Allah) for victory (against the disbelievers), he prayed by virtue of the poor people of the mihajirs (emigrants to Madinah). [1]
