Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 1266b
This Hadith is a brief report from Ibn Abbas about the purpose behind Sa'i and ramal around the House in this setting. He says that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم observed Sa'i and walked quickly around the House to show his strength to the polytheists. The narration is short, so the explanation should also stay within its limits. It does not describe every step of Hajj or Umrah. It gives the reason for these actions in this report: showing strength when others were watching. For readers searching for ramal to show strength hadith, this narration states that point directly and simply. It also keeps the focus on the Prophet’s action, not on later discussion.
What we learn from this hadith
- The report links Sa'i and ramal with showing strength.
- The audience mentioned in the Hadith is the polytheists.
- The Hadith gives a reason, not a full list of pilgrimage steps.
- The wording is brief and focused on purpose.
