Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 137b
This false oath in Islam hadith is a supporting narration through another chain. The translation lists the narrators and says it was transmitted with the same meaning as the previous report. Because the wording points back to the same Hadith, the teaching remains the warning against taking a Muslim’s right by oath. The value of the item does not make the wrong light when the oath is used to take what does not belong to a person. A reader searching for the arak twig hadith should notice that this narration strengthens the same lesson through transmission. It keeps the focus on truthfulness, property rights, and fear of Allah when making an oath.
What we learn from this hadith
- This chain supports the same warning about false oaths.
- The wrong lies in using an oath to take another Muslim’s right.
- The repeated transmission shows the importance of honesty in claims.
