A feast invitation is not only about food. It is also a way to respect the person who invited you and keep good ties with people. The Hadith does not add extra conditions in this wording, so the explanation should stay close to its message: when a valid invitation reaches a person, he should respond by attending. This supports kindness, brotherhood, and good manners in community life.
