Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 1772b
This hadith about modesty before the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) gives another wording of the same event at Khaibar. Abdullah b. Mughaffal says a bag containing food and fat was thrown to them. He quickly leapt forward to take it. Then he turned and saw the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم), and he felt ashamed of his action in his presence. The core message is not a long legal discussion. It is a human moment. A Companion acted quickly because of food, then became aware that the Prophet was watching. For searches like hadith about Khaibar food, modesty in Islam, and shame before the Prophet, this narration highlights self-awareness and respect.
