Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 2069h
This narration says that the report was transmitted through Qatada with the same chain, but without the words of Abu Uthman. That means the core report remains, while one explanatory comment from Abu Uthman is not included in this version. The main teaching still connects to the earlier wording: silk was forbidden except for a small amount described by the fingers. For readers searching for Sahih Muslim 2069h or silk limit hadith, the key is not to treat this as a separate story. It is a shorter form of the same narration. It also shows why wording matters in hadith reading: one version may include an explanation, while another may carry only the main report.
What we learn from this hadith
- This version keeps the same report but omits Abu Uthman’s comment.
- Shorter wording should be read with the fuller related narration.
- The central point remains the limited silk exception.
- The report teaches care when comparing different wordings.
