'Uqbah bin 'Amir Narrated from:
A silk gown was presented to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he wore it and observed prayer in it and then returned and put it off so violently as if he despised it. He then said: It does not befit the Godfearing persons.

Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 2075a
This hadith about silk and taqwa shows an action and then a clear statement. A silk gown was presented to the Messenger of Allah He wore it, prayed in it, then removed it strongly, as if he disliked it. After that, he said that this does not befit the Godfearing. The core topic is silk clothing, but the Hadith links it with the character of the Godfearing. The wording does not ask the reader to guess the reason from outside stories. It shows that after wearing it and praying in it, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم made a clear point by removing it and speaking about what suits people of taqwa.
What we learn from this hadith
- The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم showed dislike for the silk gown by removing it strongly.
- The Hadith connects clothing choices with what befits the Godfearing.
- The lesson is given through both action and speech.
