Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 2302a
This Hadith about the Cistern is short and serious. Abu Huraira reports that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said he would drive away from his Cistern some people, just as stray camels are driven away. The report does not explain the full reason in this wording, so the safest explanation is to stay with the warning itself. The Cistern is not described here by size, drink, or vessels. Instead, the focus is on being turned away. That makes this narration a strong reminder that reaching the Prophet’s Cistern is not something to treat lightly. For searches like people driven away from the Cistern hadith or Hadith al-Hawd warning, this report gives the warning in a few clear words.
What we learn from this hadith
- Some people will be driven away from the Prophet’s Cistern.
- The comparison is made to stray camels being driven away.
- This wording gives a warning without adding extra details.
- The Hadith encourages serious reflection on one’s path.
