Abu Hurairah Narrated from:
Verily the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The five (daily) prayers and from one Friday prayer to the (next) Friday prayer, and from Ramadhan to Ramadhan are expiations for the (sins) committed in between (their intervals) provided one shuns the major sins.

Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 233c
This hadith brings together three repeated acts of worship: the five daily prayers, Friday prayer, and Ramadan. Abu Huraira reports that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم would say that the five prayers, Friday to Friday, and Ramadan to Ramadan are expiations for what is between them when major sins are avoided. The core search phrase is five prayers Friday Ramadan expiation hadith. The text gives a hopeful message, but it does not make the matter careless. It clearly says “provided one shuns the major sins.” So the hadith teaches both hope and responsibility. Daily prayer, weekly Friday prayer, and yearly Ramadan are all shown as times of mercy and cleansing.
What we learn from this hadith
- The five daily prayers are mentioned as expiations between them.
- Friday to Friday is also included in the same teaching.
- Ramadan to Ramadan is named as a yearly means of expiation.
- The hadith keeps the condition of avoiding major sins clear.
