Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 2946b
This hadith about the Dajjal is another wording of the same warning transmitted through Imran ibn Husain’s route. The report says the people passed by Hisham ibn Amir on their way to Imran ibn Husain, and it gives the same meaning as the earlier narration. The wording variation says, “a matter greater than the Dajjal.” This wording keeps the focus on the seriousness of the Dajjal’s affair before the Last Hour. It is useful for readers searching “matter greater than Dajjal hadith” or “Sahih Muslim 2946b.” The teaching is not to add extra events here, but to notice how the hadith preserves a slight wording difference while keeping the warning clear and serious.
What we learn from this hadith
- This narration gives a slight wording variation of the Dajjal warning.
- The phrase used here is about a matter greater than the Dajjal.
- The report keeps the same setting with Hisham ibn Amir and Imran ibn Husain.
- Wording variations can preserve the same core warning in a careful way.
