Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 763o
This short Hadith points back to the same report about Ibn Abbas spending the night with his aunt Maimuna. Because the wording says the rest of the Hadith is like the earlier narrations, its main value is in supporting the same event. The main point is the right-side prayer position in the Ibn Abbas night prayer report. In the linked account, Ibn Abbas observes the Prophet's voluntary night prayer, joins him, stands on the left side, and is moved to the right side. This narration does not bring a new long detail, so it should not be stretched beyond what it says. It simply strengthens the repeated report about night prayer and standing on the right.
What we learn from this hadith
- The narration supports the earlier Ibn Abbas report about Maimuna's house.
- Its main point is tied to the same night prayer event.
- The related report shows Ibn Abbas being moved to the right side in prayer.
- A brief chain-based report should be explained without adding new details.
