Muwatta MalikHadith Number 26
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ مَا طَالَ عَلَىَّ وَمَا نَسِيتُ " الْقَطْعُ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا " .
Amra bint Abd ar-Rahman Narrated from:
A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "It has not been a long time for me and I have not forgotten. A thief's hand is cut off for a quarter of a dinar and upwards."
