أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ، عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ حَدِّثِينِي بِشَىْءٍ، كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو بِهِ فِي صَلاَتِهِ . فَقَالَتْ نَعَمْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ " .
Farwah bin Nawfal Narrated from:
I said to 'Aishah: 'Tell me of a supplication that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say in his prayer.' She said: 'Yes. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: Allahumma inni author bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of that which I have done, and the evil of that which I have not done.)'

Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 1307
This Hadith shares a short supplication from the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم). Farwah bin Nawfal asked Aishah to tell him a dua that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to say in his prayer. She replied with the words: O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done, and the evil of what I have not done. The wording is brief but very deep. It covers past actions and possible future actions. It teaches a believer to seek Allah's protection not only from known mistakes, but also from harms one may not yet see. This dua seeking refuge from evil deeds is simple enough to remember and wide enough to touch daily life.
