Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 346

She reported that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to perform Wudu with a Mudd and Ghusl with approximately a Sa. The narration is focused on the amount of water used. It helps answer common searches such as Mudd for Wudu, Sa for Ghusl, and Prophet’s amount of water for purification. The wording says approximately a Sa for Ghusl, so the explanation should not turn it into an exact claim beyond the text. The Hadith points to simple, measured, and careful use of water in acts of purification.
