Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 3916
This narration gives the central statement in a very concise form: Rafi' bin Khadij reported that the Messenger of Allah forbade leasing land. It does not name a payment type, a crop share, a location, or a particular dispute. That brevity matters. The hadith clearly belongs to the topic of agricultural land leasing, but a reader should not insert details from memory into this specific text. Other narrations may explain forms of rent involving produce or selected areas of a field, yet this entry itself records only the general wording. A good explanation therefore keeps two points together: the prohibition is stated plainly, and the contract details are not stated here. This protects the meaning from both being ignored and being expanded without textual support.
What we learn from this hadith
- Rafi bin Khadij is the named narrator of the prohibition.
- The report states that the Messenger of Allah forbade leasing land.
- No payment form or crop condition appears in this version.
- The narration should be quoted without adding missing contract details.
