Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 4281
This hadith about angels entering the home gives a short and direct warning. The Prophet says that the angels do not enter a house in which there is a picture, a dog, or a person who is Junub. The main search phrase is angels do not enter a house, with related terms such as dog in the house, pictures in Islam, and Junub. The narration lists all three conditions together, so the explanation should not remove one or mix it with a different report. It also does not give extra details about the type of picture, the kind of dog, or how long the condition lasts. Its clear lesson is to take the spiritual state of the home seriously and pay attention to the matters named in the text.
What we learn from this hadith
- The hadith links the condition of a home with the entry of angels.
- A picture and a dog are both specifically mentioned.
- A person who is Junub is also included in this narration.
- The wording should be followed without adding conditions not found in the text.
