Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 5205
This Hadith about the Prophet's ring gives a different physical description: Muaiqib said the ring of the Prophet [SAW] was made of iron with silver twisted around it. He also said that sometimes it was on his own hand, and the narration adds that Muaiqib was the keeper of the Messenger of Allah's ring. People searching for Prophet ring material, iron and silver ring Hadith, or keeper of the Prophet's ring will find this narration important. The text does not explain why Muaiqib held it at times, so the explanation should not guess. What it clearly gives us is the ring's described material and the fact that Muaiqib had a role connected to keeping the ring.
What we learn from this hadith
- The ring is described as iron with silver twisted around it.
- Muaiqib is mentioned as the keeper of the Prophet's ring.
- The Hadith teaches careful reporting of both the object and the person connected to it.
