Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 5463
This narration teaches a direct way to seek Allah’s protection from poverty, want, humiliation, and injustice. It is a clear dua for poverty and being wronged. The Hadith does not add long details; it gives words that are easy to repeat and easy to understand. Poverty and want can make life heavy, while humiliation can hurt a person’s sense of dignity. The Prophet [SAW] also included protection from wronging others, which keeps the dua balanced. It is not only asking to be saved from pain, but also asking not to become a cause of pain for someone else. These words keep the request focused and humble.
What we learn from this hadith
- Ask Allah for protection from poverty, want, and humiliation.
- Seek safety from becoming a person who wrongs others.
- Seek safety from being harmed by the wrongdoing of others.
- Use clear, direct words when asking Allah for protection.
