Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 5548
This Hadith about drink rules reports from Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah forbade Ad-Dubba, Al-Hantam, Al-Muzaffat, and An-Naqir. The same narration also says he forbade mixing Al-Balh with Az-Zahuw. The text gives two connected points: certain named items are forbidden, and a specific mixture is forbidden. Since the Hadith itself does not explain each vessel or term in the translation, the explanation should stay close to the wording. For searchers looking up Ad-Dubba, Al-Hantam, Al-Muzaffat, An-Naqir, or mixed date drinks, this narration gives the exact list mentioned. Its teaching is careful attention to the Prophet’s named prohibitions in drink-related matters.
What we learn from this hadith
- The narration lists Ad-Dubba, Al-Hantam, Al-Muzaffat, and An-Naqir as forbidden.
- It also forbids mixing Al-Balh with Az-Zahuw.
