Prohibition of Every Drink that Intoxicates

Sunan an-NasaiHadith Number 5591

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ كُلُّ شَرَابٍ أَسْكَرَ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Every drink that intoxicates is unlawful.'" Qutaibah (one of the narrators) said: "From the Prophet [SAW]."
