Exaggerating In Snuffing Water Into The Nose

Sunan an-NasaiHadith Number 87

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ لَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ، قَالَ ‏ "‏ أَسْبِغِ الْوُضُوءَ وَبَالِغْ فِي الاِسْتِنْشَاقِ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ صَائِمًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from 'Asim bin Laqit bin Sabirah that his father said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, tell me about Wudu." He said: 'Perform Wudu' well,[1] and exxagerate in sniffing water up into your nose, except when you are fasting.'" [1]See No. 141
