Core Hadiths Explaining the Virtues of Friday in Islam
Friday stands out as the most blessed day of the week, carrying immense spiritual rewards for believers who honor its sanctity. Authentic prophetic traditions reveal that when Friday arrives, angels station themselves at the gates of the mosque to record worshippers in the order of their arrival. Those who rush to the mosque in the earliest hours receive massive spiritual blessings, likened to sacrificing a camel, followed in degree by a cow, a ram, a chicken, and finally an egg. Once the Imam appears to deliver the sermon, the angels fold their scrolls to listen intently to the remembrance of Allah. According to Islamic scholars, the ultimate virtue of this day lies in a specific, hidden hour. If a practicing Muslim catches this short, fleeting moment while standing in prayer and begs Allah for good, their supplication is guaranteed to be answered.

Abu Hurairah Narrated from:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) saying, "We (Muslims) are the last (to come) but (will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection though the former nations were given the Holy Scriptures before us. And this was their day (Friday) the celebration of which was made compulsory for them but they differed about it. So Allah gave us the guidance for it (Friday) and all the other people are behind us in this respect: the Jews' (holy day is) tomorrow (i.e. Saturday) and the Christians' (is) the day after tomorrow (i.e. Sunday)."

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively.
