Authentic Hadiths on the Sanctity of Makkah and Madinah
These authentic hadiths highlight the unique spiritual status and profound sanctity of Islam's two holiest cities, Makkah and Madinah. According to Islamic scholars, Allah Himself established Makkah as an eternal sanctuary from the day He created the universe, strictly prohibiting the shedding of blood, chasing of game, or cutting of trees within its boundaries. Similarly, Madinah is a protected sanctuary where committing sins, sheltering wrongdoers, or innovating heresies brings severe condemnation. The text emphasizes that the asylum granted by any Muslim must be honored, and anyone breaking these sacred pacts or violating the peace of these blessed holy sanctuaries faces the ultimate loss of having their deeds rejected.
