Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 1166
This Hadith about wudu and marital boundaries repeats two clear instructions. Ali narrated that the Messenger of Allah said when one of you breaks wind, he should perform wudu, and he should not go into women through their behinds. The first part gives a rule of purification, and the second part gives a rule of intimate conduct. Both are stated in simple words, showing that religious guidance covers both worship and private life. The Hadith teaches that a Muslim should care about purity before prayer and also respect moral limits in marriage. It is a practical Hadith with a direct message.
