Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 1703
This hadith about angels not accompanying dogs or bells speaks about a travel group or company. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said that angels do not accompany a group in which there is a dog or a bell. The explanation should stay close to the wording. It does not list every case or exception. It simply warns about two things mentioned in the report: a dog and a bell in a group. The related search term dog and bell hadith often points to this narration. For a reader, the lesson is to take prophetic warnings seriously and avoid treating such details as small when the text gives them attention.
