Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 1824

This Hadith about Jallalah food ruling reports from Ibn Umar that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم prohibited eating the Jallalah and milking it. The word Jallalah refers to an animal mentioned in the Hadith in relation to this prohibition. The report is short, so the explanation should also stay focused. It does not list every type of animal, nor does it explain all related legal details. It simply says that eating it and taking its milk were prohibited. Abu Eisa also says there is a narration on this topic from Abdullah bin Abbas and grades this report as Hasan Gharib. For people searching for Jallalah hadith or milk of Jallalah in Islam, the key teaching is that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم gave guidance about what should not be consumed, and the Companions preserved that guidance.
