حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَقُولُ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ تَفَرَّغْ لِعِبَادَتِي أَمْلأْ صَدْرَكَ غِنًى وَأَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ وَإِلاَّ تَفْعَلْ مَلأْتُ يَدَيْكَ شُغْلاً وَلَمْ أَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ " . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيُّ اسْمُهُ هُرْمُزُ .
Abu Hurairah Narrated from:
The Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: "Indeed Allah, Most High Said: 'O Son Of Adam! Devote Yourself To My Worship, I Will Fill Your Chest With Riches And Alleviate Your Poverty. And If You Do Not Do So, Then I Will Fill Your Hands With Problems And Not Alleviate Your Poverty.'"

Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 2466
This hadith about devoting yourself to worship presents a direct message from Allah Most High. Allah says, O son of Adam, devote yourself to My worship, and I will fill your chest with richness and remove your poverty. If you do not do so, your hands will be filled with problems and your poverty will not be removed. The hadith focuses on worship as a source of inner richness and relief from being consumed by worldly worry. It does not mean a person has no duties in life. The clear message is that worship should not be pushed aside by endless busy work. When worship is neglected, a person may remain busy yet still feel poor and unsettled.
