Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 2579
This Hadith is a short Marfu' narration from Abu Hurairah. It says the molar tooth of the disbeliever will be like Mount Uhud. Because the wording is brief, the explanation should also stay focused. It is not about the mountain itself. It is a description of the severity and scale connected with punishment in the Fire. Similar reports in the same section mention more details, but this narration gives only the molar comparison. The lesson is to take the Hereafter seriously, fear the Fire, and not speak about unseen punishment beyond what the text says. The short wording itself is enough as a reminder.
What we learn from this hadith
- The Hadith compares the disbeliever's molar tooth to Mount Uhud.
- The wording is brief and should not be stretched beyond its text.
- The comparison points to the severity of Hellfire punishment.
- The report reminds readers to take the Hereafter seriously.
