Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 305
This Hadith is connected to the detailed report of Abu Humaid As-Saidi about the Prophet's prayer. It does not give a new full description in the translation, but it says that Abu Humaid was among ten Companions of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, including Abu Qatadah bin Ribi. The Arabic text adds that they said, "You have spoken the truth; this is how the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم prayed." The main value of this narration is confirmation. It supports the description of prayer posture, takbir, sitting, and taslim found in the previous report. For readers searching for the Prophet's salah method, this Hadith shows that the description was not presented in isolation; other Companions heard and agreed.
What we learn from this hadith
- The report supports the detailed description of the Prophet's prayer method.
- Knowledge of salah was discussed among Companions with care.
- The confirmation of others adds weight to the described prayer practice.
- This narration points back to the same meaning as the fuller Abu Humaid report.
