Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 3601
This Hadith teaches the value of saying La Hawla wa la quwwata illa Billah often. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم told Abu Hurairah to be frequent in this dhikr and described it as a treasure from the treasures of Paradise. The words remind a believer that real might and power belong to Allah alone. The report also includes Makḥul’s added wording about turning to Allah and seeking no escape except to Him. The core message is simple: a Muslim should keep the tongue busy with words that show reliance on Allah. This is a powerful hadith about dhikr, trust in Allah, and remembering that human strength is limited without Allah’s help.
What we learn from this hadith
- Say La Hawla wa la quwwata illa Billah frequently as a form of dhikr.
- Recognize that true might and power belong to Allah alone.
- Turn to Allah in need and depend on Him rather than on personal strength only.
