حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ، يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَاضِعًا الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ .

I Saw The Prophet (ﷺ) Placing Al-Hasan Bin 'Ali Upon His Shoulder While Saying: 'O Allah, I Love Him, So Love Him.'

This Hadith shows the Prophet’s صلى الله عليه وسلم tender love for Al-Hasan bin Ali. Al-Bara bin Azib says he saw the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم placing Al-Hasan on his shoulder while saying, “O Allah, I love him, so love him.” The image is gentle and easy to understand. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم carried Al-Hasan close to him and made dua for him. This hadith about Al-Hasan teaches that love for children and family can be shown with warmth, care, and prayer.
