Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 3905
This hadith about Quraish is direct and serious. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said that whoever wishes to humiliate the Quraish, Allah will humiliate him. The narration does not give a long discussion about politics, history, or social rank. It gives a warning about wanting disgrace for a people named in the hadith. The key point is the danger of seeking humiliation for others, especially a group given a place in this narration. A reader should not stretch the hadith beyond its words. Its clear teaching is to avoid a heart that enjoys the disgrace of Quraish and to keep one’s speech and intention away from unjust insult.

- Wanting humiliation for others is treated as a serious matter here.
